Sharing Hope. Celebrating Victories.

At The City Mission, we love to celebrate! And you're invited to do that with us through our many community events throughout the year. We cherish these opportunities to connect with the community (YOU!) and share our vision for providing Help, Heart, and Home to those who need it most. Check out our annual Run and Ride fundraisers, and find other special events at the bottom of this page!

Running with a Mission

Sherwin-Williams Women’s Club and The City Mission are so grateful for all who participated in Running with a Mission 2019! It was a record breaking year, with nearly 2,000 participants. Hosted at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, participants enjoyed a 5k run, 1 mile walk or kids dash, along with music, games, face-painting and more. Visit the Running with a Mission page to view 2019 highlights and get the latest updates on 2020's Run.

Stand In for Homeless Children

A lot of work went into this June 29th, 2019 event, but the real work is just beginning. Nearly 3,000 students experienced homelessness in Cleveland School District during the 2018/2019 academic year, and we're now formulating a practical, united response that collaboratively engages the community.

Soon, we’ll be calling on you to Step Out and work with each other to end the cycle of poverty. In the meantime click below for a recap of the event.

Ride with a Mission

Join us for the 8th annual Ride with a Mission motorcycle rally and fundraiser on September 7th, 2019.  Riders have an opportunity to tour Laura’s Home, then it’s kickstands up and we're off to our main campus where you can tour Crossroads Men’s Crisis Center, share a meal, visit vendor exhibits and get a chance to when door prizes. Check the Ride with a Mission page for more information on this year's Ride!
