A modern-day prodigal tale
Joseph was two weeks away from completing the Crossroads program at The City Mission. But as he began to worry about finding a job, the formerly homeless man felt his only hope was to leave.
So he started walking.
Joseph walked for 5 hours, finally stopping at a park where he hoped to beg for enough money to survive. With an empty stomach and old tarp serving as both mattress and blanket, Joseph tried to sleep with the sound of coyotes close by.
But Joseph’s story doesn’t end there.
Watch his journey and see how God led him from fear and despair to welcome and relief. It’s a modern-day prodigal tale you don’t want to miss.
