#GivingTuesday 2017: Comforters & Joy

Our #GivingTuesday Goal: More beds for Crossroads

#GivingTuesday on November 28th is a day dedicated to showing that the holidays are more about giving back than getting – and The City Mission needs your help proving that’s true in Cleveland! As the days grow colder, more men are coming to our Crossroads Men’s Crisis Center in need of refuge. Sadly, Crossroads has been full to capacity over the past few months. The City Mission has space for about 16 more men, but not enough real beds. Will you help us meet our #GivingTuesday goal of $4,500 so that we can provide Comforters & Joy – purchase bunks and bedding – for the many, many individuals who will come to us seeking help and hope this holiday season?

We have one day only to raise the money, because a generous donor has agreed that on November 28th they will provide a matching gift of up to $1,500! That means your donation goes farther. $10=$15. $50=$75. And $200=$300! Together, we can reach our goal of providing more than beds – we can offer men a safe, welcoming place to lay their heads as they work toward a positive future. Will you join us?
