Endowment Foundation

Change Lives For Years to Come

The City Mission has an annual operating budget of $5.4 million through the generosity of individuals, companies, churches or other groups and foundations. We do not receive government funding.

The City Mission Endowment Foundation was established in 1974 to provide ongoing income for the programs of The City Mission so that the work of reaching hearts, changing lives can continue for generations to come. We have received gifts of all sizes from those who believe that setting aside a portion of the resources available today to meet unknown needs in the future is smart stewardship.

There are many ways to give to The City Mission Endowment Foundation:

  • Some choose to include the Foundation in their planned gifts – bequests, a life insurance beneficiary and more (see Planned Giving page for more details).
  • You may donate cash, appreciated stocks and bonds even real estate holdings.
  • You can also establish a charitable gift annuity through the Foundation which will provide predictable, guaranteed income for life.

These are just a few examples of how you can sustain The City Mission and the programs closest to your heart.
