How do I get started?

Every volunteer or volunteer group leader needs to attend a Prospective Volunteer Introduction (PVI). It is only an hour and can answer many of your questions. At the end of the session, you meet with a volunteer coordinator to discuss what you want to do and the steps to get you started.

I want to help with children. Are there any special requirements?

Depending on the nature of your volunteer assignments, a background check may be required in addition to the interview with the ministry. You will be told exactly what the requirements will be at the beginning of the process.
