100 Stories of 100 Years!
Do you have a story to share about your life or that of a sibling, parent, grand-parent, friend or other person? Do you have old photographs, journals, or other materials?
For example:
- We recently met a woman whose great-aunt still remembers coming to The City Mission on Sunday afternoons for "a sermon and soup" during the Great Depression.
- A professional from one of Cleveland's largest employers recalls looking forward to getting on one of our school buses on Saturday mornings as a child to come to the Mission for classes.
- A man successfully completed our long-term program and the change in him so moved other members of his family that two other relatives also came to the Mission. All 3 are actively involved in the community making a difference.
