School Supplies Drive, August 3 - 28, 2009

School supplies are collected every August for the children living at Laura’s Home for Women & Children, those participating in our afterschool program and teen clubs and students in our poorest neighborhoods.

Thank you to everyone who donated in 2008 - we were able to distribute 923 kits. That's up from 2007 when 458 children received supplies. Items needed include folders, notebooks, notebook paper, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, crayons, chalk, scissors and glue.

School supplies are accepted throughout the year at 5310 Carnegie Avenue Monday – Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.
