Memorial and Honor Gifts

Memorial Gifts provide an opportunity to honor a loved one or remember a deceased friend or relative with a gift in his or her name. It will bless the lives of so many people that he or she might never have had the opportunity to meet. A listing of our memorial gifts are published in our quarterly newsletter.

To Designate Memorial or Honor Gifts

Please download the Honor or Memorial Gift Form and send it to the Mission. If you have additional questions, please call (216) 431-3510 ext. 217 or email our Memorial and Honor Gifts administrator.

Create a Custom Webpage so Others can Participate Too!

Create a webpage with a link you can send to family, friends and others where they can easily donate to the Mission in memory or to honor the person you designate.

You can set the page to accept donations for 6-24 months, add a picture and information about the person, create an automatic 'thank you' note to those using the page to donate, and update the page as often as you like.

Instructions:

• Go to firstgiving.com/thecitymission
• Click on the Get Started button
• Go to the section labeled " Doing something we haven't listed?" and from the drop down box, select one of the following:
  • "in memory of someone"
  • "personal occasion" (options include anniversaries, birthdays, christenings, weddings and other occasion)
  • "other"
• Follow the prompts

Once you've answered the basic questions and provided your email, firstgiving.com will send you an email with additioonal information. They are also available to answer your questions by phone or email.
