Details on April 4th Event
On Saturday, April 4, 2009 we will hold our 3rd Annual Spring into Life Luncheon and Fashion Show at Signature of Solon. Current long-term clients and recent graduates of the long-term program at Laura's Home Crisis Center for Women & Children will model Chico's spring fashions and share their stories of their journey from homelessness to wholeness.
Doors open and the Silent Auction and Raffle begin at 12:00 noon. The luncheon begins promptly at 1:00 PM followed byChico's Fashion Show.
Signature of Solon is located at 39000 Signature Drive in Solon, Ohio.
Kimberly Gill, anchor of NewsChannel5's morning newscast,
“Good Morning Cleveland,” will join the ladies from Laura’s Home
on the runway.

Recap of 2008 Event
In April, 2008, attendees heard the real-life stories of women living at Laura's Home for Women & Children as they shared how they have journeyed from brokeness to wholeness through the work of The City Mission. They modeled the new Spring fashions from Coldwater Creek. And one of the attendees challenged the others to purchase an outfit for a model - in the spontaneous response, enough was collected to provide each model with her favorite outfit.
AND what a great way to celebrate Laura's Home's 5th anniversary (February 14) and the Mission's 27 years of caring for homeless women and children in Cleveland. All proceeds benefited Laura's Home.
