1709 New Toys & Games Toys Distributed in 2007

Goal Surpassed by 31%!

Thanks once again to the generosity of the people in the Greater Cleveland community, The City Mission was able to distribute 1709 new toys and games to children in the various ministries of the Mission and to the general public.

The 2007 goal had been set at 1300 and the collectiion ran from November 12 - December 12 with distribution events rom December 14 - 19. IIn 2006, the Mission distributed 1000 new toys and games.

New toys and games can still be donated to the Mission for additional distribution through our case managers. Those received after January 1 will be used for the Pathways Youth Program's Carnival in the spring.

Here’s a few guidelines for you if you would still like to donate as you shop:

• Only NEW toys and games
• Must be unwrapped--we can also use birthday and general wrapping paper too in addition to the Christmas paper..
• Avoid magic or violent toys
• Multi-cultural dolls appreciated

Dropping off donations:

Donations can be delivered to the Carnegie Building on our main campus at East 55th and Carnegie Monday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
