The City Mission always needs baby items, especially diapers, for families in need in our Pathways and Inmate Outreach Services and Laura’s Home Crisis Center for Women and Children. Laura's Home has an average of 45 children every day, including newborns and infants in diapers.
The Hope Totes program provides some of these items but due to high demand but the need continues throughout the year. Some organizations have also used events surrounding Mother's Day as an opportunity to encourage their members to give or choose this as a summer, fall or winter project.
Items Needed:
• Disposable diapers sizes 4-6 and 3T pullups (Currently going through 80 diapers a day!!)
• Baby wipes (especially without perfumes or dyes)
• Formula
• Baby lotion, shampoo, wash, oil and powder
• Strollers, car seats, and cribs
