Operation Hope Tote

Primary campaign dates: February 13 - April 6, 2012

Basic personal care items provide practical assistance and a tangible expression of how you care to those arriving at Laura's Home or Crossroads or going through the programs. The city-wide campaign is held every spring during the 8 weeks prior to Easter. We also have year-round collection sites or you can hold your own drive at any time of the year. More details...

Diaper Drive

Baby items, such as diapers, formula, etc. are needed throughout the year. Women's luncheons and conferences or Mother's Day events provide opportunities to collect these items. Some groups have held a "baby shower" for The City Mission in general or Laura's Home specifically.   For more details...

School Supplies Drive

Primary campaign dates: July -  August 2012

Basic school supplies accpeted throughout the year but the primary collection is July through August with distribution just before school starts.  For more details...

Holiday Food Drive

Primary campaign dates: November 12 - 30, 2012

1,000 holiday food baskets will be distributed this year. We ask individuals and groups who want to do their own collections to bring the donations to our main campus at E. 55 and Carnegie or to Laura's Home during the campaign. For more details...

New Toys and Games Collection

Primary campaign dates: November 1 - December 14, 2012

A variety of organizations incorporate donating new toys to children in need into their holiday celebrations. However, we have worked with children and their parents who wanted to make their birthday party a way to help children who are in difficult circumstances by donating some or all of the presents received to Laura's Home or to the children participating in the Pathways programs.
