Helping your employees

How Companies can Help The City Mission

The City Mission receives no public funding - no city, county, state nor federal - and we rely on private donations. Corporate sponsorships of our events or programs can provide great assistance in initiating or continuing benefits to our clients. Below are just a few of the ways that corporations can help.

Program Support Opportunities

All programs have portions that can be funded by corporations or grants from foundations. If you have an interest in supporting a particular program area or to learn of the ones for which we are currently seeking funding, please email our Grant Manager or call (216) 431-3510 ext. 248.

Walmart Foundation's State Giving Council present donation to Laura's Home to assist homeless women and children in crisis in Cleveland

We’re grateful for the generous partnership of the Walmart Foundation’s State Giving Council in support of women and children in crisis at Laura’s Home.  Together we are empowering women to overcome hindrances to success, build on their strengths and achieve a healthy and productive future.

Volunteer or Donate Services

Create a special day for your employees to get involved. Please email our Volunteer Coordinator, Leah Uveges at at least 6-9 weeks in advance of your desired date.

Matching Your Employees' Contributions

A number of local and national companies will match the contributions of their employees to charities. If you need any information to add us to your current program or to start a new one, please contact our Development Office at (216) 431-3510 ext. 269

Invite a Speaker to Your Meeting

A great way to enhance a staff or a regional business meeting is to invite a speaker from another organization. Check out our Speakers Bureau to see some of the people you could consider inviting.
